Connect the generation route

Thanks to Klap for sponsoring this video.

The walkthrough uses the Klap API for generation and Codex browser control for editing and scheduling. Those are separate parts of the workflow.

  1. Choose one long video you own and ask for a three-clip test batch.
  2. Create the Klap API key through the route shown in the video; keep it out of prompts and public files.
  3. Give Codex the input video, clip count and the approved export requirements.

Review before scheduling

A generated clip can be technically valid while cutting away the context that makes its claim true.

  1. Watch each clip from its opening through the ending. Check that it makes sense without the full video.
  2. Correct on-screen titles, captions and reframing in the Klap editor.
  3. Save a reusable style template only after checking a finished export on a phone-sized screen.

Test the daily task

The video demonstrates a setup and one batch, not long-term unattended reliability.

  1. Connect the intended YouTube and Instagram destinations and inspect their calendars.
  2. Configure the daily Codex task with an explicit source selection and review step.
  3. Run a small test, inspect the posting queue and remove unwanted duplicates before relying on the schedule.
  4. Track API operations separately from Klap website limits and Codex usage.

The takeaway

Automate the repeatable work after one complete batch has passed review. The historical $2.84 API example is not a current all-in price.
