Choose one job and its actual output

This July video organises six examples by chapter. The “10 hours” title is Luke’s claimed experience; it is not a timed saving established for another person.

  1. For email triage, define the mailbox scope, priority rules and draft-review boundary.
  2. For invoices or payment links, specify the approved recipient, amounts and review step before any external action.
  3. For phone access, identify the intended project and account rather than assuming every desktop capability is available remotely.

Separate a shared preview from a checked website

The next examples cover hosting/sharing and AI browser testing. A deployed page can still fail the task it was built to support.

  1. For a shared site, choose the intended visibility and inspect the actual public URL.
  2. Give browser testing a concrete user task and expected result.
  3. Inspect screenshots and failure evidence instead of accepting a success summary.
  4. Recheck the affected task after a repair.

Use task visibility without confusing it with proof

The final example is the Codex Pet as a way to track work. A visible activity indicator does not establish that a job finished correctly.

  1. Choose one of the six workflows and test it manually before making it routine.
  2. Keep external sends, billing and publication behind the required approval boundary.
  3. Review the actual saved result and unresolved items.
  4. Use the activity display to notice state, then use the job’s evidence to judge completion.

The takeaway

The chapters provide useful starting points. This is an editorial workflow worksheet, not a current setup manual for every Codex feature shown in July.
