You Should Ditch ChatGPT

For coding...

I used to live in ChatGPT. Paste code, paste errors, get answers. Copy-paste all day. Life was good.

Until it wasn’t.

Sometimes, ChatGPT just gets it wrong. So I switched to Claude - better responses, but those token limits hit hard. Next thing I know, I’m bouncing between ChatGPT and Claude, desperately rationing queries like it’s wartime.

Then there’s GitHub Copilot - seemed promising at first, but even writing a simple comment triggers a flood of greyed-out code across my screen. I just want to code in peace, not constantly swat away autocomplete suggestions like a mosquito swarm.

So, I needed something else. Something with massive context, no interruptions, and (preferably) free.

That’s when I found Google AI Studio.

✅ 2 million token context (that’s my whole codebase, plus queries)
✅ Free (because who wants to drop £195 a year for "more usage"?)
✅ File uploads (finally, a model that gets the full picture)

It’s not perfect, but it’s the best thing I’ve found so far. If you’re tired of switching between half-baked AI tools, you need to check this out.

I break it all down in this video - watch here:
