## Connect the browser and inspect the first extraction

Luke sets up BrowserAct with Claude Code after describing problems with his Chrome-extension workflow. The recorded route uses API access to a remote browser and demonstrates job extraction. Remote browsing changes where the session runs; the useful check is what the browser accessed and what data the extraction returned.

1. Open http://browseract.ai/ailuke and follow the API-key setup at 1:07. Start with a small, permitted source and define the fields you want, such as listing title and source URL.
2. Watch the live browser session as shown at 2:08. Compare a few returned records with their source pages before accepting the extraction or expanding its scope.

## Save a checked method as a Claude skill

The video turns the workflow into a skill at 3:24 and explains metadata, instructions and resources at 4:10. It then visits ClawHub.ai and tests an Amazon product skill. A reusable instruction should preserve the successful method and make missing data visible instead of hiding a failed extraction behind a plausible summary.

1. Write the source, required fields, extraction steps and output checks into the reusable method. Keep supporting resources separate from the concise instructions the agent needs each time.
2. Run the saved skill on another small input and inspect the results. For a downloaded skill, read its instructions and required access before testing it on an account or sensitive data.

## Build and test the no-code workflow end to end

The later sequence covers BrowserAct’s credential centre and MFA, then builds a Google News scraper, outputs CSV and tests publication. It closes with running workflows as an MCP server. These are distinct stages: authenticated access, extraction and delivery each need an observable result.

1. Follow the demonstrated credential route only for accounts you control or may use. Build the small news workflow and compare extracted rows, links and missing fields with the pages visited.
2. Open the CSV and check its columns and representative records. Test the published workflow or MCP invocation separately, preserving the same output requirements before using it for a recurring job.

## The takeaway

Make reuse depend on a checked browser run and a readable output file. A saved skill, credential connection and published workflow serve different parts of that chain.
