## Choose the job before installing a stack

Thanks to Arcade for sponsoring this video.

The video covers five different projects. Their source code being available does not make model APIs, hosting or compute free.

1. For a coworker workspace, start with OpenDots and one small research job.
2. For exposing a Python function to an AI client, inspect FastMCP and define a narrow tool input and output.
3. For website critique and polish, inspect Impeccable against one real page.

## Use a small, observable test

REA is presented for inspecting software behaviour, while Chatterbox is used for speech delivery. The links in the original description lead to each project.

1. With REA, choose one specific behaviour to inspect and compare the explanation with what the software actually does.
2. With Chatterbox, use the same short text for two deliveries and compare intelligibility and expression.
3. Keep a record of the model, local requirements and running costs for the route you choose.

## Inspect the result before connecting more systems

The video includes an example of turning an editing workflow into an MCP tool. Arcade is a separate sponsor segment about MCP runtime.

1. Test the smallest useful function first.
2. Define what it may read, write or trigger before connecting it to an agent.
3. Check the actual saved file or returned result, including an invalid-input case.
4. Add more tools only when the first one solves its intended job.

## The takeaway

Start with the project that matches your immediate task. This is a selection guide based on the coverage, not a claim that all five were comprehensively tested.
