## Context and connected knowledge

Thanks to Coursera for sponsoring this video.

The video uses scripting, research and production examples, including sample Obsidian notes. Saved instructions supply standards; source material supplies evidence.

1. Choose one recurring job and describe the intended reader, inputs and finished result.
2. Include an example of work you consider good and the rules it must follow.
3. Identify which sources establish current facts and require traceable references for claims.

## Automation and agents

A repeatable sequence and an agent exercising judgement need different instructions. A saved Skill is not by itself a schedule.

1. Separate deterministic steps from decisions that need review.
2. Give an agent the outcome, permitted tools and explicit stopping points.
3. Test the saved workflow manually before adding a trigger.
4. Make missing inputs and failures visible instead of allowing an apparently successful empty result.

## Evaluation

The video includes corrections to systems Luke had already built. Reusable instructions still need evaluation on the next real input.

1. Define a small set of checks before running the job: accuracy, completeness and practical usability.
2. Inspect the output against those checks and the supplied sources.
3. Record the correction in the reusable process when it addresses a recurring problem.
4. Keep the workflow only if its result is worth the effort of operating and checking it.

## The takeaway

Apply the concepts to one concrete job before building a larger system around them.
