## Keep the hardware versions distinct

Thanks to Violoop for supplying the V3 review unit.

All hands-on tests in the video use the V3 review unit supplied by Violoop. V4 images show a planned production version Luke had not tested.

1. Connect the unit to the Mac using the setup shown in the recording.
2. Review the requested app permissions and available models.
3. Start with demo information and a task whose result you can inspect.

## Test the approval boundary

The email example uses Recommended mode and the physical approval button. Full Trust changes that behaviour, so the mode is part of the test.

1. Ask for an email draft using demo content.
2. Check the recipient, text and intended action before approving it.
3. Observe what the physical button authorises in that mode.
4. Do not assume a separate mode will retain the same approval step; check its documented behaviour before using it.

## Evaluate background work and cost

The review also tests proactive suggestions and research while the Mac is locked, and discusses metered model usage.

1. Choose a small research task and define the expected output.
2. Check the finished evidence after the locked-screen test.
3. Review the suggestions, errors and model usage as separate results.
4. Decide whether the convenience suits your work, using the V3 findings rather than untested V4 promotional images.

## The takeaway

The review reports useful behaviours and rough edges on V3. Some screen sequences were recreated with demo emails to protect private information.
