## Start with a brief you can inspect

The test uses a square poster for a fictional café, Maple Coffee, with five exact lines of text. Canva describes Craft as planning a design before generating the image.

The first checked image had the requested wording and layout. That is one sample, rather than evidence that every generated design will spell and place every line correctly.

## Check the image before making changes

Generated lettering is part of an image, not automatically a collection of ordinary editable text boxes. Read the whole poster before treating it as a finished design.

1. Open Canva’s Dream Lab through the product link below.
2. Write a clear brief with the required format and exact wording.
3. Inspect the generated image line by line and check the layout.
4. Decide whether the next change needs an image revision or extracted text.

## Inspect the Grab Text result

In the video, Grab Text allowed the opening time to be changed, but the fonts and spacing changed too. Getting the new time into the poster did not preserve every detail of the original treatment.

After a revision, compare the full design again: wording, font choices, spacing and readability. Check the current account allowances before making further generations.

1. Use Grab Text to work on the wording you need to change.
2. Revise the opening time.
3. Compare the edited version with the original, including fonts and spacing.
4. Read the poster at its intended display size before export.

## The takeaway

A good first image and an easy-to-edit design are separate outcomes; inspect the whole poster after changing its text.
